About Collision Advisory
I've spent my career in finance. First at the Fortune 100 level, then running a collision repair business. Now I help shop owners like you.

Doug Higgins
Founder & Principal
I spent over a decade at Kroger. Started as an internal auditor, worked my way up to CFO of the Midwest Division, then led strategic finance at the enterprise level. Budgets, forecasting, and financial planning at a scale most people never see.
Then I went and ran a multi-location collision repair company. I dealt with the same things you deal with: insurance headaches, technician shortages, parts delays, rising costs, and the constant pressure to do more with less.
That combination is what I bring to every client. I know how to read the numbers, and I know what it's actually like to run a shop.
How I Think About This Work
Shop owners are smart, hardworking people. Most of them didn't get into this business because they love spreadsheets. They got into it because they're good at fixing cars and taking care of customers.
But at some point, the business gets complicated. You need to understand your numbers. You need to know where the money is going and what to do about it. You need a plan for what comes next.
That's where I come in. I'm not here to tell you how to run your shop. You already know that. I'm here to help you see the financial picture clearly and make better decisions because of it.
When you work with me, you work with me. Not a team of associates. I keep my client list small on purpose, because this work requires focus and trust.
